Field Services Engineer
I travel extensively throughout the US & Canada, servicing customers on many levels. I troubleshoot, repair, and/or upgrade their existing Solution per my employer's policies and procedures.
Implementation Engineer
When needed, I am asked to travel to a site and parform a new installation. I prepare by reviewing the paperwork with the plans and coordinate with the customer accordingly to get the job done accordingly and as scheduled.
Customer & In-House Trainer
I train our customers either on location or inside our training center in our offices. I truly enjoy training customers regarding our products. Mainly, I have shown customers how to perform hardware repairs on their equipment to minimize their down time. I cover safety rules, introduce our technical terms and provide my personal experiences encountered while in the Field.
I also train co-workers, whether existing or new hires, on some basic topics regarding our products. This enables me to share my experiences on the Field and provide them with troubleshooting tips and/or methods of solving issues as they encounter them. By teaching the foundation of our product line, my co-workers can begin putting the 'pieces of the puzzle' together and become knowledgable to provide the necessary support to our customers and/or better perform their functions within the company.
R&D Procedural Developer
While traveling, I have encountered situations or environments where on-the-spot note-gathering is necessary to later develop either a procedure or extend my experiences when tackling the particular issue and how I resolved it. I tend to document any new encounter and try my best to create a quick procedure to alert my co-workers on the problem encountered and how to solve it. Some of my experiences have been added to our in-house Knowledge Base for all to review when the problem is encountered.
